Chanel West Coast
Chelsea Chanel Dudley, better known by her stage name Chanel West Coast, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, model and television personality from Los Angeles, California. Growing up she spent her time living between North Hollywood, California with her mother and New York City with her father. She was exposed to show business at an early age because her father was a DJ and he took her to nightclubs throughout the city of New York when she was only 8 years old. She also took singing and dancing lessons at a young age.
Before becoming a rapper, Chanel West Coast was known for her roles in MTV’s Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness. She
got involved with music in 2009 but it wasn’t until 2012 that she got signed to Lil Wayne’s label Young Money Entertainment. She released the mixtape “Now You Know” the following year, which featured prominent names such as French Montana, Snoop Dogg and Robin Thicke. She released a compilation album with Young Money Entertainment titled “Young Money: Rise of an Empire” in 2014 and followed that up with the mixtape “Waves” in 2015. Her debut album is eagerly anticipated by her fans and the hip hop community.
