Starrah and Diplo Get Animated for ‘Swerve’ Lyric Video

Starrah & Diplo are gearing up to release their new EP together, but in the meantime they’re tiding us over with some new tunes.

Having previously released their new record, “Swerve,” the two hitmakers drop the official lyric video. The new visuals see the duo turning into cartoons, where they hang out on top of a colorful metallic car, donning matching denim ensembles. While Starrah’s character sports a black and white mask over his face, Diplo’s character plays with a fidget spinner in his hand.

The upbeat track dives into the two’s flexing skills, remarking on swerving on their haters in their luxury vehicle.

“And my lil’ baby swerve on ’em, swerve on ’em, yeah,” Starrah says on the hook. “Swervin’, hit them curbs on ’em, curbs on ’em, yeah/In the coupe like a bird on ’em, bird on ’em, yeah/Said my lil’ baby swerve on ’em, swerve on ’em, yeah.”

You might already be familiar with Starrah as a major songwriter in the game, having contributed his pen to hits such as Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Drake’s “Fake Love,” Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds” with Drizzy and Lil Wayne and more.

Take a listen to “Swerve” and see Starrah & Diplo turn into cartoons for the lyric video below.
